About the Role
Our client in the Automotive Industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Service Advisor to join their team based in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, coordinating workshop activities, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and the service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop.
- Receive customer vehicles and accurately record service requirements.
- Provide professional advice regarding vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Prepare job cards and ensure accurate information is captured on the system.
- Communicate with technicians regarding work progress and updates.
- Provide customers with feedback on service progress and completion times.
- Ensure all service documentation and reports are completed accurately.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure high service standards.
- Assist with scheduling workshop bookings and service appointments.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle queries or concerns professionally.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership environment
- Previous Dealer Management System (DMS) experience
- Stellantis brand experience advantageous
- Valid Code B drivers licence
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer literate (knowledge of Pinnacle system advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong administrative and reporting skills
- Punctual and reliable
