About the Role
The Exports Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within designated export territories across Africa. This role requires a strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and customer-focused approach to build and maintain relationships with mining customers, consultants, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and market penetration within designated export territories across Africa.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mining customers, consultants, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline from prospecting through to contract award.
- Prepare and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective customer support and successful project execution.
- Provide regular market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience within the mining industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships across multiple organisational levels.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Africa.
