About the Role

The Warehouse Storeman plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of goods within the storage facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and inspecting raw materials and stock items
  • Storing and issuing materials to production
  • Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory management
  • Ensuring proper storage and warehouse safety
  • Supporting efficient manufacturing operations by providing timely supply of materials
  • Dispatching goods as required
  • Handling equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
  • 3 years experience in a warehouse or store environment within manufacturing
  • Solid understanding of stock control principles

Qualifications

  • Forklift license
