Job Description
The Marketing Manager who is equally at home developing an exciting new product concept with the R&D team as they are building a digital campaign, managing a brand partnership, or presenting a go-to- market plan. You will be the creative and commercial engine driving brand equity, product launches, digital growth and customer engagement across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Innovation & Commercialisation
Brand, PR & Corporate Communications
Own brand identity and positioning across all markets ensuring every touchpoint is on-brand,
compelling and commercially purposeful.
Lead corporate PR and industry advocacy positioning as the authority on designer drinks in the
foodservice and FMCG space.
Develop and execute seasonal campaigns, eventing and promotional activations that generate buzz, footfall
and commercial return.
Produce world-class marketing collateral, sales tools and go-to-market assets that empower the commercial
team to win.
Digital Engagement & eCommerce
Lead full digital presence website, eCommerce, social media, email marketing and paid digital
with a bias for content that is edgy, joyful and highly shareable.
Drive measurable customer growth and engagement: build community, grow following, increase conversion
and deepen brand loyalty.
Develop a content calendar and community management approach that positions as the go-to brand
for designer drink innovation.
Use data and analytics to optimise digital performance and report clearly on ROI including a 20%+
volume growth target through digital channels.
Digital Background management.
Principal & Partner Brand Management
Manage strategic licence and 3rd-party brand relationships including 1883, Nestl (Rolo, Milky
Bar, Aero) and other key principals ensuring mutual growth targets are met.
Work with principals to co-develop innovative product concepts and co-branded marketing activations that
extend portfolio reach.
Explore and pursue new licensing or co-branding opportunities that expand product offering and
brand equity.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Marketing, Brand, Communications or Commerce. Post grad or digital marketing qualifications advantageous.
- 5+ years in brand, marketing or product management within FMCG, beverages or foodservice. A track
record of measurable commercial impact. - Hands-on across website, social, eCommerce, email and analytics platforms. You understand how digital
drives commercial growth - Experience managing multi-brand or licence partnerships. Confident negotiating with and presenting to
principals and suppliers. - Proven experience taking product concepts to market from concept through launch to commercial
tracking - Strong brand instinct, copywriting ability and visual sensibility combined with sharp commercial
judgement on margin and pricing.
