About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced PLC & Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Ermelo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our industrial equipment and systems. If you have a strong background in electrical engineering and programming, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, modify and optimize PLC logic, primarily on Allen-Bradley systems
- Manage and maintain the SCADA system, including troubleshooting and updates
- Ensure effective integration between PLC systems and automated plant equipment
- Maintain accurate PLC, SCADA and electrical documentation
- Perform electrical maintenance, wiring, installations and fault finding
- Implement and manage preventative maintenance schedules for electrical systems
- Support mechanical and electrical maintenance activities on motors, drives and plant equipment
- Supervise maintenance teams every second weekend and respond to technical emergencies
Requirements
- Electrical qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher)
- Proven PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley essential)
- Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of SCADA systems
- Willingness to work every second weekend
Qualifications
Millwright qualification
Experience in industrial automation and control systems
