Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Switchboard Operator to join our team. The Switchboard Operator will be responsible for answering incoming calls, transferring calls to the appropriate department or individual, and providing excellent customer service to all callers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: – Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner – Transfer calls to the appropriate department or individual – Provide information to callers as needed – Take messages accurately and relay them to the appropriate person – Maintain an organized call log and ensure all calls are handled efficiently – Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned Requirements: – High school diploma or equivalent – Previous experience as a switchboard operator or in a similar role preferred – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Strong customer service skills – Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment – Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and other office equipment If you are a customer-focused individual with strong communication skills and a professional demeanor, we encourage you to apply for the Switchboard Operator position.
