About the Role
We are seeking a charismatic Front Desk Liaison / Receptionist to join our award-winning, 5-star boutique hotel in Franschhoek Winelands. As the first point of contact for international travelers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring an unforgettable experience for our discerning guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome high-profile guests upon arrival
- Manage front office operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest services
- Process bookings and reservations using Opera Property Mgt Software
- Maintain accurate records and reports using Excel and Word
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries
- Work collaboratively with the Resident Manager and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
- Manage evening and late shifts as required
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years previous experience in a 5* hotel environment as a Receptionist, Concierge, Front Desk Agent or Liaison Officer
- Formal tertiary qualifications (not specified)
- Strong admin, organizational, financial and planning abilities
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and Opera Property Mgt Software
- Fully proficient in booking and reservations systems
- Willingness to work evening and late shifts
