About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Service Consultant / Assistant Service Advisor at The Talent Room in Gauteng. As an Assistant Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Service Advisors, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Service Advisors with customer bookings and service appointments.
  • Respond to customer enquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Communicate with customers regarding vehicle service progress, repairs, and estimated completion times.
  • Prepare and maintain job cards, repair orders, and service documentation.
  • Coordinate workflow between the service department and workshop technicians.
  • Ensure customer information and vehicle details are captured accurately.
  • Follow up on outstanding repairs, parts availability, and customer approvals.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction follow-ups after vehicle collection.
  • Assist with service department administration and filing.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Service Consultant, Costing Clerk, Warranty Clerk, or similar role within a dealership.
  • Knowledge of dealership workshop processes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Computer literacy and experience with dealer management systems.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with warranty administration.
  • Familiarity with Kerridge, Evolve, Automate, Autoline, or similar dealer management systems.
