About the Role
As a Digital Trading & Online Growth Specialist at Communicate Finance, you will be responsible for driving digital commercial outcomes across various channels, including Google Ads, ecommerce platforms, and B2B ordering portals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute high-intent campaigns, optimize performance, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimise highintent campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax) and complementing paid channels
- Oversee product feed accuracy and health, ensuring the Merchant Centre environment is consistently optimised
- Manage GA4 and Tag Manager implementation to ensure all tracking, conversions, and event data remain clean and reliable
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop ads, landing pages, and promotional concepts aligned to commercial goals
- Monitor performance daily and adjust bidding, audience segments, and messaging to maximise return
- Drive consistent revenue growth, margin contribution, improved average order values, and stronger repeat purchase behaviour
- Enhance the ecommerce funnel endtoend — from landing pages to product detail pages, internal search, cart, checkout, and postpurchase flows
- Build and execute a trading calendar covering promos, bundles, upsells, tactical markdowns, seasonal pushes, and more
- Identify commercial opportunities across pricing, merchandising, product mix, and user journeys
- Manage the daily operation of ecommerce platforms (WooCommerce preferred; Magento/Shopify also welcomed)
- Maintain fast, stable, conversionfriendly websites through solid SEO hygiene and ongoing performance improvements
- Translate business needs into developerready briefs and acceptance criteria without requiring coding experience
- Coordinate development changes, testing cycles, tracking validation, and postlaunch analysis
- Support the evolution and adoption of an online B2B ordering portal aimed at reducing manual admin and increasing buyer self
- Participate in defining workflows for bulk ordering, personalised pricing, order visibility, reordering tools, rolebased access, and creditcontrolled environments
- Work closely with sales and key accounts to ensure the portal’s functionality aligns with buyer behaviours and trade priorities
- Coordinate between internal teams, developers, and external vendors to ensure timely rollout of updates and improvements
- Assist in keeping systems connected via API-driven integrations and connected services
- Identify, prioritise, and escalate issues impacting site stability, customer experience, performance tracking, or fulfilment
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in ecommerce, digital trading, growth marketing, or related roles
- Strong Google Ads, Merchant Centre, GA4, and Tag Manager capabilities
- Hands-on experience managing ecommerce platforms (WooCommerce ideal; Shopify/Magento welcomed)
- Understanding of key ecommerce levers:
- Conversion optimisation
- SEO basics
- Product data hygiene
- Feed management
- Promotional mechanics
