Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage material releases in line with production plans and customer demand requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent production disruptions.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and resolve any supply delays impacting operations.
- Capture and maintain accurate inventory transactions and records within the SAP system.
- Liaise with logistics providers and freight forwarding partners to ensure materials are delivered according to schedule.
- Compile and analyse inventory and supply chain data to assist with operational planning and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within inventory control and SAP-related processes.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, inventory policies, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional departments including Engineering, Sales, SQE, and Project Sourcing to support material planning and operational readiness.
Minimum Requirements
- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in material planning, inventory management, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Practical working knowledge of SAP and inventory/stock control systems.
- Good understanding of supply chain operations, inventory control principles, and material flow processes.
