About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, from invoicing and payments to bookkeeping and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Send daily invoices and job cards to customers
- Generate monthly rental invoices and customer statements
- Follow up on chargeable items (parts and job cards)
- Handle debtor and creditor queries
- Manage internal financial queries
- Capture payments accurately and timeously
- Prepare daily and month-end payment lists
- Maintain and update bank beneficiaries
- Import bank statements daily
- Allocate receipts and payments daily
- Handle daily bank-related queries
- Request bank codes and reports when required
- Draft VAT reports timeously
- Collect, verify, and follow up on outstanding supplier invoices
- File all invoices and supporting documentation
- Capture irregular supplier invoices
- Assist the Supervisor with overdue debtors
- Submit monthly financial reports
- Assist the bookkeeper during audits
- Complete credit applications for approval
- Perform credit checks
- Follow up with creditors and update internal teams
- Manage travel allowances and accommodation arrangements
- Assist with ordering fleet cards
- Assist with inventory spot checks
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping (preferred)
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar financial administration role
- Experience within the mining, construction, or industrial sector will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of invoicing, payments, VAT, and basic bookkeeping
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Diplomas or Certificates in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping (preferred)
