About the Role
As a Food Assistant at Signa Opportunity in Gauteng, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and performing various other duties as assigned by the management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean kitchen utensils and equipment
- Greet customers and make them feel welcomed
- Take orders and serve food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Ensure that all food served is of high quality and meets restaurant standards
- Clean tables, chairs, and counters after each customer leaves
- Stock food and beverage items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen
- Follow health and safety protocols as outlined by the restaurant
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements
- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
- Must not have participated on the YES Programme before
- Quality Oriented
- Attention to detail
- No Experience required
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
