Job Summary
This well-established company in the retail industry is looking for a highly skilled Group Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in consolidations, driving process improvements, and supporting the finance executive team with strategic reporting and financial oversight.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Full group consolidations and reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple entities
- Preparing monthly management accounts and presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Streamlining finance processes and implementing automation where possible
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls
Education:
- Qualified CA(SA)
Job Experience & Skills required:
- Minimum 2 years post-articles experience in a group reporting or financial accounting role
- Strong technical skills in IFRS and consolidations
- Experience in the retail or automotive industry will be beneficial
