About the Role
Bidvest Prestige is seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to drive company growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating strategic partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and increasing revenue, while leading a team and managing key client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and mergers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new growth areas.
- Lead, coach, and manage the performance of the business development team (indirectly with ownership taken by the Operations team).
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and improve service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior business development, sales, or management role.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze market trends, financial data, and performance metrics.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to develop long-term plans and adapt to market changes.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
