About the Role

AJ Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Marketing Manager to join their team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing marketing campaigns, and leading a high-performing marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and run the marketing strategy to steer the marketing plan
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies
Manage and oversee all marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, content, video, and traditional marketing
Manage market research to identify trends and opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding
Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing initiatives and campaigns
Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective strategies
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team
Update the executive committee on marketing initiatives and develop initiatives for order conversion and lead generation
Lead internal and external event planning
Review the performance of the team through their KPIs
Develop new campaigns and report on progress
Develop and run marketing campaigns to reach the marketing plan, focusing on customer loyalty, brand and product confidence, customer investment, brand value, supplier brand confidence, supplier promotion, and staff confidence

Requirements

Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager
Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Scheduling Software, Adobe Creative Cloud)
Experience with content management systems and email marketing platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing metrics
Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and team leadership
