About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Officer/Inspector to join our team at Execustaff South Africa (Pty) Ltd. As a QC Officer/Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy, calibration status, and condition of measuring instruments, as well as conducting routine patrol inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify incoming raw materials and outsourced services, including surface treatments, heat treatment, and subcontracted goods, ensuring compliance with specified requirements, approved drawings, and documentation.
- Validate inspection records and Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) against applicable product and customer requirements.
- Conduct routine patrol inspections throughout the manufacturing process, including first-off and last-off inspections on production runs, using calibrated measuring equipment.
- Perform in-house welding verification, part and sub-assembly inspections, and assembly verification.
- Complete final inspection of finished goods prior to release, ensuring all products meet Company quality requirements and are produced within a safe and controlled working environment.

Qualifications
- Matric with an overall pass mark of 55% or higher, including English, Mathematics (Pure Mathematics – not Mathematical Literacy), and Physical Science.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment where no formal tertiary qualification is held.
