Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for on-line inspection of intermediate products and finished products during production
• Monitoring production process to reduce substandard quality risks
• Raising Quality Incident cards for any incidents
• Ensuring equipment and testing tools are calibrated
• Approving in-process production by confirming specifications
• Documenting inspection reports and maintaining station cleanliness
• Reporting abnormal findings to department head
• Supporting quality in production by performing on-line tests
• Issuing batch manufacturing documents and conducting investigations when required
• Training and coaching production line staff

Professional Qualifications/Experience:

• Grade 12 certificate with 4 years of experience
• OR Scientific qualification with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical material
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
