Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review complex discovery documents and processes
Consult with clients and liaise with counsel
Coordinate and plan large-scale litigation matters
Draft legal submissions and opinions
Administer and manage client files
Engage with governmental and private institutions on behalf of clients
Monitor case progress including fieldwork coordination
Prepare client damages reports and expert reports
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
Liaise with media where required

Requirements

Admitted Attorney with minimum 2 years post-admission experience
Practical litigation experience
Strong computer literacy
Demonstrated commitment to human rights and public interest law
Advantageous: Written and verbal proficiency in one or more official South African languages
