Adhere to the OHS Act and Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on preventative / corrective actions from investigations.
- Issue corrective actions on non-conformances found during audits.
- Keep records of all statutory inspections and surveys in an organized manner for easy access
- Ensuring that all SHEQ policies, procedures, and standards are up to date and in line with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures where necessary.
- Developing training and awareness programs for employees on SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Setting up and monitoring the company’s safety, health, environmental, and quality management systems.
- Ensuring that the company is ISO 9001 certified compliant.
- Maintaining of SHEQ system according to ISO standards (9001; 14001 & 45001)
- Oversee Incident investigations Risk assessments for Safety, Quality and Security.
- Internal SHEQ auditing as required by ISO standards (9001;14001 & 45001).
- Contractors’ management – compliance to internal and customer SHEQ requirements
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day management.
- Ensure full preparation and presence for internal and external audits, including clients’.
- Ensure effective Customer complaint investigation and response, including site visits.
- Ensure all training regarding Quality, Safety, Health and Environment is carried out effectively.
- Must conduct regular meetings with your team and oversee the progress of KPI’s.
- Oversee the daily Security Function and liaise with the Security Supervisor and SHE Officer.
- Accompany external inspectors into the plant to release and inspect Jobs.
- Ensure that the weighbridge is operated effectively regarding goods received procedure.
- Do daily plant walks and monitor safety, quality and security short falls that needs to be brought to the operations management attention.
