About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer Intern to join our team at Signa Opportunity. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement software applications using C++, C#, and python, while collaborating with our backend and front-end teams to design and implement RESTful APIs for data exchange.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software applications using C++, C#, and python.
- Integrate APIs into software applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Optimize software applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with the backend and front-end team to design and implement RESTful APIs for data exchange.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure high-quality performance.
- Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
- System testing and validation procedures.
Requirements
- South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated in the YES programme before.
- Matric Certificate (with results).
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology.
- A qualification in Software Development.
- Experience working with databases and querying data using SQL or NoSQL.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them into software applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Develop software applications using languages like C++ or python.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
