About the Role
A Telecommunications Engineer is required to plan, design, and install telecommunication products, systems, and network infrastructure for a client in New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work abroad.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and install telecommunication products, systems, and network infrastructure
- Maintain and monitor the network, including troubleshooting and security checks
- Perform maintenance and repair of hardware and software components
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IP networking, RF, fibre installations, router configurations/programming, and cloud technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (NZQF Level 7 or 8) in Networking or relevant fields
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Knowledge of IP networking, RF, Fibre installations, router configurations/programming, and cloud technologies
- Experience in WISP installations/configurations/programming
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications not specified
