About the Role
The client is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to oversee and execute project-related functions within the IT Infrastructure Department. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT initiatives, as well as driving operational improvement projects across the IT Operations environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver IT initiatives
- Drive operational improvement projects across the IT Operations environment
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives
- Coordinate technical teams, vendors, and key stakeholders
- Support operational readiness initiatives, including system upgrades, disaster recovery testing, and service continuity activities
- Measure adherence to SLA for internal/external customers and report to management
- Oversee the entire IT Infrastructure departmental projects and serve as a point of contact for the department and customers
- Ensure project control is adhered to as per the project process & policy
- Coordinate work, identify risks and mitigation plans, and handle projects budget strategies
- Set timeline estimates and ensure the needs of stakeholders are met
- Communicate and request approval for emergency changes
- Prepare monthly reports including graphical data
- Analyze and assess submitted change requests according to categories and communicate accordingly
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or related field
- Extensive experience in project management, Computing, AgilePM 2019 Foundation, PMBOK, PRINCE2, and ITIL V4 Foundation Certificate
- 3 Years Experience as a Project Specialist or 5 Years as a Project Coordinator or similar role
