Job Description

The client is seeking a Project Management Specialist to oversee and execute project-related functions within the IT Infrastructure Department. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT initiatives, as well as driving operational improvement projects across the IT Operations environment. The Project Management Specialist ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives, while effectively coordinating technical teams, vendors, and key stakeholders. In addition, the role supports operational readiness initiatives, including system upgrades, disaster recovery testing, and service continuity activities, to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. KPIs SLA Management Measure adherence to SLA for internal/external customers. Report to management on adherence to SLA for internal/external customers. Ensure compliance of changes submitted and all registered project Projects Oversee the entire IT Infrastructure departmental projects and serve as a point of contact for the department and customers. Ensure project control is adhered to as per the project process & policy. Duties includes coordinating work, identifying risks and mitigation plans, and handling projects budget strategies. Set timeline estimates and ensure the needs of stakeholders are met. Communicate & request approval for emergency changes. Ability to Prepare monthly reports including graphical data. Ability to analyze and assess submitted change requests according to categories and communicate accordingly. Clear communicator (both written and verbal). Be flexible and adaptable in approach to problem solving. Actively encourage strong working relationships with other teams. Actively seeks ways of improving incident management processes. Good self-awareness. Actively seeks out tasks that help develop skills and knowledge. Department Standards Ensure compliance with project management standards. Investigate new processes and procedures to improve the Project Management process. Continuous improvement on project management best practice. Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or related field. Extensive experience in project management, Computing, AgilePM 2019 Foundation,PMBOK, PRINCE2 and ITIL V4 Foundation Certificate. 3 Years Experience as a Project Specialist or 5 Years as a Project Coordinator or similar role. Product specific training and computer proficiency. Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation, and schedules. Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project). Special Requirements Willing to work extended hours
