About the Role

Our client, a well-established and growth-focused company in the agri-retail sector, is seeking a dynamic and motivated candidate for the Junior Retail Store Manager position in Grabouw, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with the daily management and operation of the retail store.
• Support sales growth and ensure operational excellence within the store.
• Assist with stock control, promotions, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Supervise and motivate staff while promoting teamwork and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Assist with budgeting, controls, and achieving financial targets.

Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification with minimum 3 years retail sales experience, including supervisory experience within a retail store environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and retail operating systems.
• Strong leadership potential with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for customer service and retail operations.
