About the Role
The Commercial Vehicle Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales growth by developing strong relationships with customers in the transport and logistics sector. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing professional guidance to customers on the most suitable vehicle solutions for their operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial transport market.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts.
- Conduct regular prospecting activities including cold calling, networking, and client visits.
- Achieve agreed sales targets relating to unit volumes, profitability, and market share.
- Provide expert guidance to customers regarding vehicle specifications and operational suitability.

Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
- At least 5 years’ experience within the commercial vehicle or trucking industry.
- Proven experience in sales and customer relationship management.
- Code 14 driver’s licence (advantageous).
- Knowledge of road transport legislation and industry regulations (advantageous).
