Job Summary
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Post Graduate Degree or higher-level qualification in library & information services 10+ years experience in a library, preferably with exposure to servicing differently abled users At least 5 years experience should be at a management level Formal qualification in Project Management with 3 or more years related experience in Project Management would be a distinct advantage Excellent exposure and knowledge of technological advancements Strong working knowledge of Act and prescripts given and directing information services Excellent English written and verbal skills and good report writing ability Must be able to handle public speaking and willing to travel independently Able to budget and monitor expenditure and have fund raising experience High level experience in MS Office and working knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, SCM and related acts Must be a paid-up member of LIASA / related organization and have a valid drivers license The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Manage / lead a team of staff Compile and uphold policies as well as contract management Public speaking on behalf of the organization when needed Supportive focus in terms of financial management, marketing, procurement, office infrastructure, departmental administration, planning, research and quality assurance User orientation training and management of systems Project management through reviewing services, policies and staff management Review of service quality Spearheading information literacy
Salary:
R896 304 CTC per annum for the contract duration
