Job Summary
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12.
- National certificate in Administrative Qualification/s – National Diploma advantageous
- 3 years of practical experience in industrial, reservations, rooms division, and yield management.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written).
- Adaptability to different working areas and conditions.
- Attention to detail.
- Good customer care skills & good communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure & to make decisions.
- Must have own accommodation & transport.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee daily operations of the Reservations Ticket Office team.
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency and exceptional guest service.
- Ensure all reservations and ticketing are processed timely and professionally.
- Maximize revenue opportunities through effective inventory and rate management.
- Act as a liaison between guests, the reservations team and other departments.
- Ensure all public areas are presentable for guests & visitors.
- Record keeping and capturing sales on the company’s system.
- Ensure that stations & systems are operating and ready for service, on time.
