About the Role
AF Consulting is seeking an experienced Tasting Room Manager to join our team in Hermanus, Western Cape. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating a premium and memorable guest experience while maintaining exceptional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the tasting room Wednesday to Sunday (09:30–17:30)
- Creating a premium, relaxed and memorable guest experience
- Maintaining an excellent 4.8 Google review standard
- Actively promoting and growing wine club memberships
- Taking initiative during quieter winter months, there is always something to improve, organise or build
Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience (restaurant, hotel or wine environment)
- Polished, confident presence that represents a premium brand well
- Commercial awareness, comfortable speaking about value and closing a wine club sign-up
- Strong attention to detail
- Emotional maturity and the ability to receive direct feedback
- Own reliable transport (the farm location requires this)
