Job Summary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BSc Agri in Agronomy / Soil Science
- PhD in plant genetics advantageous
- Min of 8 years’ experience in agricultural field
- Previous experience with fruit – apples, pears, oranges
- Computer literate
- Keen interest in modern agriculture and technology
- Effective communication and written skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Ability to conduct trials
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid drivers license
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Sourcing Orange Valencia
- Identify and engage with local farmers to source high-quality Orange Valencia.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of produce to meet company standards.
- Packhouse Coordination:
- Identify suitable pack houses for packing and storing the sourced fruits.
- Engage with packhouse management to ensure compliance with packaging standards and timelines.
- Oversee the packing process to ensure fruits are packed correctly and efficiently.
- Shipping and Logistics:
- Ensure the shipping of packed fruits to India and other overseas markets.
- work with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Oversee and manage export documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations
