About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Housekeeping Manager to join our team at a high-end 5* Game Lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving the department to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

Key Responsibilities

Make the team feel valued in order for them to assist you to drive the department.
Provide strong management and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure guest expectations are exceeded through strong people skills and a focus on delivering world-class service.
Adapt successfully to changing situations and environments with flexibility.
Plan and organize effectively to meet tight deadlines and deliver results.

Requirements

Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (listening skills, verbal communication etc).
Positive attitude, Self-motivated, Confident.
Sense of humour; Sense of adventure.
Strong People skills.
Flexibility – adapt successfully to changing situations and environments.
Attention to detail.
Proactive person with a well-developed concept of the importance of providing a world-class guest experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years Housekeeping Management experience in a 5 star boutique operation or Big 5 reserve with in a similar lodge environment.
Budget & Stock Control Experience (Room Division or Front of House Experience) – a plus.
Hospitality and Service training experience – a plus.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly package – negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
Live-in position with meals on duty.
Pension fund.
Staff Lodge Nights.
Work cycle – 21 days – 7 days off.
Annual leave – 15 days.
