About the Role
We are seeking a Project Construction Supervisor to join our mining group based in the Northern Cape on a 1-year contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a B-Tech or B Eng Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduate or holder of any other applicable tertiary qualification who is registered or eligible for registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and update the construction master schedule
- Manage construction activities to ensure works are constructed in compliance with design specifications
- Record and document Variation Orders
- Assist project managers in compiling Tender Contract documentation for FIDIC Contract Conditions
- Compile monthly construction management reports
Requirements
- B-Tech or B Eng Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
- Registered or eligible for registration with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) as a Professional Engineer
- At least 3 years experience in the Mining environment
- Exposure to both electrical and mechanical disciplines
