About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Deputy General Manager in Hout Bay. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Duty Manager and assist with the day-to-day running of the property
- Take full responsibility for all administrative functions
- Follow standard procedures in an organised and proactive manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare ad hoc reports, perform clerical and administration duties
- Train and supervise staff
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure a high standard of work
- Implement health and safety protocols to protect staff and guests
- Ensure effective staff management within the guidelines of company policies and legislative requirements
- Control and manage stock levels and reports
Requirements
- Grade 12
- A formal qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience within the hospitality industry
- Staff management experience
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Sound administration skills
- Sound financial skills
