Pronel Consultants, a well-established accounting firm based in Howick, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Tax Consultant / Administrator to join their team. This role is ideally suited to a mature individual with strong practical experience in taxation and accounting, who is confident working in a deadline-driven environment and engaging directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of:
- Personal Income Tax
- Corporate Tax
- Trust Tax
- Foreign Tax
- Compilation of financial statements using Draftworx or Caseware
- Managing multiple client portfolios and deadlines
- Working across various accounting platforms
- Liaising directly with clients and providing professional support
- Ensuring compliance with SARS and relevant regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar tax/accounting role
- Working knowledge of:
- Pastel Accounting
- Sage Online
- QuickBooks Online
- Draftworx or Caseware
- Solid understanding of tax processes and compliance
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with clients professionally
