About the Role
The iLembe: Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing the human resources function across four lodges, providing strategic guidance and support to lodge managers, and ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices in a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and staffing across four lodges
- Provide HR guidance and support to lodge managers
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary processes and grievances
- Implement training, development and performance management systems
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation
- Support workforce planning and operational HR needs within a hospitality environment
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years HR experience (hospitality industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation
- Valid South African drivers licence
- Willingness to travel regularly to lodge locations
- Conversational Zulu is advantageous
