About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creditors Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our accounts payable department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly/Weekly Reconciliation: Reconciling Vendor Accounts, ensuring payments are up to date, following up on reconciling items, and receiving all Vendor Account Statements.
- Fixed Monthly Recording: Capturing fixed monthly tax invoices, calculating accruals, updating reports, and ensuring payments are made by the due date.
- Invoice Handling: Validating Tax Invoices according to SARS Regulations, capturing invoices through Meat Matrix and Sage 200 Evolution, filing documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Vendor Maintenance: Completing new credit applications, maintaining vendor details, loading new/existing beneficiaries, and ensuring accurate information is up-to-date.
- General Administration: Taking phone calls, answering billing questions, and providing general support to the team.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
- Tertiary Qualification (desirable) or studying towards a Bookkeeping / Finance Degree would be advantageous
