About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Creditors Clerk to join our team, responsible for managing vendor accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly/Weekly Reconciliation: Reconciling Vendor Accounts, ensuring they are paid up to date, following up on reconciling items, and receiving all Vendor Account Statements.
  • Fixed monthly recording: Capturing fixed monthly tax invoices, calculating accruals, updating reports, and making payments by the due date.
  • Invoice Handling: Validating Tax Invoices according to SARS Regulations, capturing invoices through Meat Matrix and Sage 200 Evolution, filing documentation, and maintaining vendor details.
  • Vendor Maintenance: Completing new credit applications, loading new/existing beneficiaries, and ensuring accurate vendor information.
  • General Administration: Taking phone calls, answering billing questions, and providing general administrative support.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
  • Tertiary Qualification (desirable) or studying towards a Bookkeeping / Finance Degree would be advantageous

Qualifications

  • Sage 200 Evolution experience is an advantage
