Job Title: Chargehand Location: UAE Middle East – Dubai Contract Duration: One-Year Contract Sector: Construction Function: Scaffolder Job Purpose: The Scaffolding Chargehand is responsible for assisting the Foreman and Supervisor in overseeing daily scaffolding activities on-site. The role involves leading a small team of scaffolders, ensuring safe work practices, coordinating daily tasks, and supporting the efficient installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. Key Accountabilities: Team Coordination Project Support Safety Compliance Quality Control Primary Deliverables: Accurate and timely submission of site reports, inspections, and operational updates Completion of assigned tasks within project timelines and budget requirements Secondary Deliverables: Provide operational support and information to supervisors, engineers, and other departments as required Duties & Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate daily scaffolding activities on-site Assist with erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of scaffolding materials and work areas Liaise with Foremen, Supervisors, and site teams regarding work progress and operational requirements Minimum Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in scaffolding operations Technical Skills: Knowledge of scaffolding erection, dismantling, and modification techniques Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
