<p><strong>Description of position:</strong><br role="presentation" />The Company is looking for an HR Generalist to manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This<br role="presentation" />role carries out responsibilities in various Human Resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations,<br role="presentation" />performance management, training and development, employment equity, benefits administration, compliance and policy<br role="presentation" />implementation.</p><p><br role="presentation" /><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p><p> Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes by managing the end-to-end recruitment process and<br role="presentation" />coordinating onboarding and orientation programs to ensure integration into the Company<br role="presentation" /> Managing industrial relations and acting as a point of [contact details removed] concerns, inquiries and conflict resolution<br role="presentation" /> Ensure that the Company complies with all relevant labour laws and regulations<br role="presentation" /> Coordinate and support performance management by collaborating with managers to address performance issues and<br role="presentation" />identify development opportunities<br role="presentation" /> Administer employee payroll, internal documentation and benefit programs<br role="presentation" /> Oversee training and development programs, including submitting Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training<br role="presentation" />Reports (ATR). Monitor the effectiveness of training programs<br role="presentation" /> Managing an Employment Equity strategy, not only to comply with equity measures and eliminate unfair discrimination<br role="presentation" />but also to attract, develop and promote diversity within the workplace.<br role="presentation" /> Coordinate with other Human Resource professionals<br role="presentation" /> Generate regular Human Resource reports and conduct meetings</p><p><br role="presentation" /><strong>Requirements:</strong><br role="presentation" /> Proven experience as a Human Resource Generalist or similar HR role<br role="presentation" /> Understanding of general Human Resources policies and procedures<br role="presentation" /> Good knowledge of employment/labour laws and regulations<br role="presentation" /> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br role="presentation" /> Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.<br role="presentation" /> Strong ethical standards and a high level of confidentiality<br role="presentation" /> Proficiency in MS Office<br role="presentation" /> Bachelors degree in human resources or related fields</p><p><br role="presentation" /><br role="presentation" />Closing Date: 30.05.2025</p>

We are seeking a hands-on and operationally focused HR Generalist to support workforce operations on a large-scale renewable energy project site. The role involves delivering end-to-end HR support in a fast-paced site environment, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, supporting workforce planning and reporting, and assisting with employee relations and payroll processes. The HR Generalist will support day-to-day site HR activities while working closely with Site Management, contractors, and Head Office teams. Key Responsibilities Compile and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports Track headcount, absenteeism, overtime, and Employment Equity statistics Maintain accurate HR records, dashboards, and reporting templates Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes Assist with inductions, onboarding documentation, and access control procedures Support local labour hiring initiatives and workforce compliance requirements Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and employee relations matters Support compliance with labour legislation and company policies Advise site teams and contractors on HR and IR-related matters Coordinate training records and compliance reporting activities Assist with skills development and mandatory training coordination Manage time and attendance records for site personnel Verify payroll inputs including timesheets, overtime, and allowances Support alignment between contractor workforce records and payroll submissions Build strong working relationships with employees, contractors, and site leadership Assist with resolving workforce-related issues in a practical and professional manner Maintain audit-ready HR documentation and filing systems Requirements Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field 3–5 years HR Generalist experience within construction, mining, energy, industrial, or site-based environments advantageous Strong understanding of South African labour legislation including LRA, BCEA, and Employment Equity Strong HR reporting and analytics capability Experience handling employee relations and disciplinary processes Computer literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills
