<p>Our client has an opportunity available for a Human Resource Generalist based in Cornubia.</p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>3-year National Diploma or B Degree in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations or an equivalent qualification in Labour Relations.</li><li>Valid unendorsed drivers licence.</li><li>5 to 10 years experience as a Human Resource Generalists, Practitioner or Administrator.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Payroll Certification.</li><li>Experience in SAGE HR Packages would be advantageous.</li><li>Experience in a call centre environment.</li><li>Exposure to payroll practices.</li><li>Knowledge:<ul><li>HRM principles and legislations.</li><li>Relevant labour legislation.</li><li>ATS software and resume databases.</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with legislation and principles of human resource management.</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.</li><li>Ensure job descriptions are up to date and relevant in collaboration with the Industrial Psychologist.</li><li>Manage and improve the onboarding and off-boarding process and monitor compliance to processes.</li><li>Implement reward and recognition strategy.</li><li>Implement and manage performance and probation.</li><li>Ensure that all HR-related legislation is adhered to including BCEA, LRA, EEA, and OHSA.</li><li>Ensure compliance with the department of labour and other related requirements.</li><li>Implement and manage internal training and personal development plans.</li><li>Ensure payroll compliance and effective execution of the overall payroll function</li><li>Manage and oversee the annual WSP/ATR and EE reporting and submissions.</li><li>Drive Health &amp; Safety compliance.</li><li>Proactively identify HR risks and suggest improvements.</li><li>Ensure all disciplinary matters and processes are effective.</li><li>Assist and guide managers with disciplinary matters.</li><li>Facilitate medical boarding, grievances, and sensitive conflict resolutions according to procedures.</li><li>Coordinate all disciplinary matters.</li><li>Liaise with external labour consultants regarding relevant labour matters.</li><li>Coordinate the ATR process.</li><li>Maintain effective recruitment and selection process.</li><li>Ensure internal and external recruitment processes are effective.</li><li>Conduct interviews for selected positions.</li><li>Coordinate psychometric assessments.</li><li>Negotiate and finalise offers with prospective candidates.</li><li>Ensure that QMS guidelines are adhered to.</li><li>Own and manage the HR QMS process and associated records.</li><li>Ensure that all supporting documents are kept updated.</li><li>Ensure that all processes are kept relevant.</li></ul><p> </p>
