Liaising with clients both telephonically, via digital platforms and across the counter Attend and respond to client queries via the incoming e-platforms Conduct daily cold calling and maintain updating of the customer database Ensure accuracy when processing quotations, orders, pricing and customer information. Follow-up on all open orders and open quotations to ensure closure. Identify sales opportunities and promote re4levant products and solutions to clients Assist voluntarily with trade shows, exhibitions, open days and product launches when required. Ensure demo / training room is neat and presentable at all times. Encourage prospective clients to register on SAP and ensure all required documentation is submitted, and captured by HO. Also add these clients to ZOHO. Capture and process customer orders accurately on the system. Liaise with Stores daily to ensure that orders are prepared and dispatched timeously. Provide clients and external sales team with sales support, product information and marketing material on all our products. Update and maintain daily sales and operational reports. Conduct product demonstrations for individual clients within our training area. Provide basic technical support for the product and escalate or refer more complicated matters where necessary. Its also imperative to attend daily branch meetings to address operational, sales and customer-related matters from the previous day. Assist trainers in ensuring all training documentation, manuals, and related material are current and adequately stocked. Assist External Sales on occasional client visits where required. Assist with ad-hoc branch duties, such as product launches, client functions, open days, stock take Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service at all times, which includes prompt response to all customer queries and follow ups. Ensure that all client queries are handled accurately, professionally and timeously. Communicate with production on special orders including product availability and estimated lead times Adhere to company processes, procedures and policies at all times Minimum of a Matric with at least 2 years experience in a technical sales environment. Must speak English and Afrikaans
