- Matric / Senior Certificate
- National Diploma in sales or marketing
Requirements
- 3-5 years internal/external sales/new business
- Valid gear operated driver’s license older than 5-years
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding previous sales targets
- Experience in container, shipping/logistics, modular conversions, tank containers, heavy machinery, converted containers, mining, commercial storage, modular houses etc. for purchasing, leasing, rentals and unit conversions industry advantageous
- Computer literate / CRM
- Strong communicative skills, a proactive approach, a passion for sales and clients.
Duties
- Building and maintain strong client relationships
- Converting prospective clients into active business accounts
- Managing client engagement and follow up on quotes and tenders done
- Identify new business opportunities in all SA market sectors
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed set targets
- Traveling to client offices or sites
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement thought to contract negotiation and close
- Maintaining accurate client CRM records
- Respond to customer enquiries with professionalism, urgency and solution-oriented thinking.
- Provide feedback upward on market condition, customer needs and competitor positioning
- Report weekly on pipeline health, opportunities and forecast accuracy.
- Coordinate with cross-function teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and effectively delivered
- Stay informed on product knowledge and industry developments
- Preparation and submission of quotations to existing and prospective clients.
- Handling of basic administrative duties such as day-to-day and outward tracking of equipment, Credit Application Facilities etc.
