Kuzuko is a Private Game Reserve and Five Star Lodge in the Eastern Cape. Kuzuko was established as a social enterprise with the aim of creating jobs in an area of high unemployment whilst also rewilding and restoring the land. Social upliftment is a key part of the Kuzukos mission statement and Kuzuko is looking to employ team members that share this vision. Kuzuko is looking for a hardworking and reliable maintenance general worker to support the upkeep of the lodge. This role is for someone who takes pride in hands-on work and contributing to a high- standard guest environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, electrical support, gardening and facility upkeep Respond quickly to guest issues reported in the rooms Undertake routine daily duties such as cleaning drains, sweeping pathways and checking lights Assist Maintenance Manager with day-to-day maintenance tasks Carry out preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work environment Work on a variety of maintenance projects as and when required Assist in other lodge work, including carrying luggage, as and when required Requirements: At least two years experience in a similar position Strong communication skills Attention to detail Physically fit and work outdoors in varying conditions Professional and presentable for a Five Star lodge environment Reliable team player Experience of at least one trade To apply: Please send your CV, cover letter and copies of qualifications to careers@ Apply Below with Maintenance General Worker Application in the subject line.
