Minimum requirements: Planner Department: Estimating / Construction We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring construction programmes throughout the tender and project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to operational requirements. The role plays a key part in project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, resource allocation, and supporting contractual claims processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and administer detailed construction programmes and schedules for tender and live projects Prepare tender programmes aligned to project scope, timelines, resources and project complexity Monitor project progress, conduct programme updates and track critical path activities Analyse delays, schedule impacts and support the Extension of Time (EOT) and variation claims processes Coordinate with Contracts Managers, Site Teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate project reporting and programme alignment Review resource planning, budgets, timelines and construction methodologies to optimise project delivery Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships through professional communication and collaboration Identify risks, constraints and opportunities affecting programme performance and recommend corrective actions Produce project reports, programme revisions and progress updates for management review Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture while adhering to company standards and safety requirements Minimum Requirements: Relevant Tertiary Degree / Diploma Minimum 10 years technical experience within the construction industry Strong understanding of construction programming, project sequencing, contracts, scheduling and reporting Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and construction planning systems Strong analytical, communication, planning and problem-solving skills This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys driving successful project outcomes. Responsibilities: Full ownership of MRP process for product groups in basket. Responsible for driving the end-to-end planning cycle, ensuring synchronization across stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) and delivering high-quality data analysis and inputs. Review data for inconsistencies, outliers, and gaps. Validate against market realities, historical performance, and cross-functional inputs. Conduct quality checks on assembled items before closing of work orders. Maintain production schedule and follow up to ensure adherence to schedule. Create, maintain, and adjust BOMs for current product groups and items. Maintain routing of items. Maintain master data parameters and validate safety stock. Create and extend new items within current product groups. Liaise with customer service as required and give feedback on ETAs. Analyse back orders and give feedback to the Planning Manager. Liaise with the Product Manager on product assembly specifications. Communicate supply and assembly constraints. Requirements: Matric certificate. Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Supply Chain/ Planning 3 years experience working knowledge of SAP. 5 years experience working experience working with inventory management and planning. Must have good communication skills in English and Afrikaans. Drivers license and reliable transport. Problem solving and organisational skills. Excellent excel skills.
