To supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of the Prochem range, ensuring efficient production, inventory control, procurement, and order fulfilment, while maintaining quality and compliance standards. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 1. Production and Manufacturing Coordination – Plan and schedule production runs with the manufacturing team – Ensure raw materials are available prior to production – Monitor batch progress and resolve delays – Maintain production records (batch sheets, quality controls, COAs) 2. Inventory and Stock Control – Monitor raw material and finished goods stock levels – Maintain minimum stock levels and reorder triggers – Conduct regular stock reconciliations and investigate variances 3. Procurement and Supplier Coordination – Obtain and evaluate RFQs for raw materials and packaging – Follow up on supplier orders and delivery timelines – Compare pricing and flag significant increases – Maintain supplier relationships – Assist with supplier evaluations and audits 4. Order Fulfilment & Logistics – Coordinate customer orders with production and dispatch – Ensure correct labelling and documentation – Liaise with transporters and track deliveries – Resolve delivery and logistics issues 5. Quality and Compliance – Ensure batch documentation is accurate and complete – Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 QMS process – Maintain document control (SOPs, specifications, records) – Basic Quality Control (QC) Testing – Perform routine quality control tests on raw materials and finished products – Record and report results accurately – Identify and escalate out-of-spec results – Ensure testing equipment is clean, calibrated, and maintained – Assist with batch release checks 6. Production Team Coordination – Coordinate daily activities of the production team inline with the production plan – Allocate tasks and monitor progress – Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety, and quality standards – Support training of operators and maintain a safe organised work environment – Escalate performance or operational issues where necessary 7. Reporting and Admin – Prepare weekly operations report, include: – Production vs plan – Stock Levels – Orders fulfilled – Issues/risks REQUIRED COMPETENCIES FOR THIS POSITION: Advantageous: – Experience in supervising or coordinating a small team – Experience in chemicals or FMCG – Exposure to ISO or quality management systems – Basic understanding of inventory/stock control systems Competencies and Skills: – Strong planning and time management – Proactive and solution-oriented approach – High level of accuracy and accountability – Good interpersonal and communication skills – Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset – Professional, reliable, and consistent QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Diploma in Business Administration, or related field 2 5 years experience in manufacturing / production / warehouse environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with health and safety practices in a production environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow and enforce processes Duties & responsibilities at each company must be clearly listed on CV.
