In this role, you will play a key part in implementing and enhancing the Groups Enterprise Risk Management framework, working closely with business units to identify, assess, and mitigate risks. You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring risks are proactively managed and aligned to business objectives, while contributing to a strong and sustainable risk culture. This is an immediate-start opportunity, making it ideal for candidates available at short notice. The role offers strong exposure within a well-established group, with a high likelihood of transitioning into a permanent position. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the business, influence risk practices, and play a meaningful role in strengthening risk management across the organisation. Duties: Conduct risk assessments across business units and identify key risk exposures Maintain and manage risk registers, ensuring accuracy and relevance Analyse risk data and prepare monthly risk reports and insights Provide advisory support to business units on risk processes and mitigation strategies Monitor incidents, track action plans, and ensure timely risk remediation Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ERM frameworks and policies Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Risk, Finance, Law, or related field Postgraduate degree in Risk, Finance, Law, or related field Professional certifications such as IRMSA, CFA, CIA, or CISA (advantageous) Professional membership such as IRMSA is beneficial Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in risk management Exposure to enterprise risk frameworks and risk environments Experience within the healthcare or regulated environment is advantageous Strong ability to engage stakeholders and influence outcomes Hands-on approach with the ability to work both strategically and operationally Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret risk data and provide actionable insights Solid understanding and application of risk management frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise business units Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in reporting and risk register management Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to identify, assess, and monitor risks proactively, driving practical mitigation strategies If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
