This is an in-office position and requires occasional travel.</p><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Duties & Responsibilities</strong></span></p><p><strong>Responsibilities 50 %</strong></p><p><strong>Develop & Apply Technical Skills and Expertise </strong></p><p>Employment Equity Services & Consultancy</p><ul><li><ul><li>Consulting with clients on EEAs</li><li>Assist clients with EE Analysis and Drafting of EE Plans.</li><li>Compiling statistical data for online EE reporting purposes.</li><li>EEA Reporting preparation for approval by client.</li><li>EEA online submission.</li><li>Perform EE and HR audits</li><li>Assist clients with Career Planning, Succession Planning and Transformation requirements</li><li>Identify skills gaps and provide solutions to clients.</li></ul></li></ul><p>Learning Related Services & Consultancy</p><ul><li><ul><li>Consulting clients on WSP & ATR compliance processes.</li><li>ATR/WSP capturing and submission.</li><li>Perform Training needs Analysis and Skills audits</li><li>Assist clients with Career Planning, Succession Planning and Transformation requirements</li><li>Identify skills gaps and provide solutions to clients.</li><li>Co-ordinate meetings of various committees.</li><li>SETA liaison.</li><li>Administrative support and updating of records on the HR Server.</li><li>Communication to clients on progress.</li></ul></li></ul><p>Labour Law (incl IR) Related Services & Consultancy</p><ul><li><ul><li>Development and Review of HR related policies to govern good behaviour and compliance</li><li>Perform disciplinary hearings</li><li>Represent cases at CCMA</li><li>Support legal practitioners in Lab court cases</li><li>Communication to clients on progress.</li></ul></li></ul><p>HR Systems and Related Consultancy Services</p><ul><li><ul><li>Participate and Support to find a feasible HR system</li><li>Evaluate HR system technology and functionality</li><li>Negotiate and finalise a typical partnership agreement</li><li>Evaluate and investigate the use of AI applications in HR service delivery</li><li>Develop consultancy services structured around the HR system and AI apps</li></ul></li></ul><p>Reporting and Audit Readiness:</p><ul><li><ul><li>Generation of reports for the purpose of reporting internally, externally and for client compliance purposes</li><li>Quality management of all HR related systems.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities: 10 %</strong></p><p><strong>Deliver Customer Service</strong></p><ul><li>Project Management / Deadline Driven:<ul><li>Partnering with the client to understand the challenges and demands.</li><li>Careful planning of your own work, setting clear objectives and timeframes and effectively prioritising tasks to ensure that set deadlines are met.</li><li>Work closely with the HR team to offer required support and assistance in meeting deadlines and advising on any delays or obstacles that may occur.</li></ul></li><li>Proactive:<ul><li>Planning ahead in order to pre-empt as many as possible delays and obstacles.</li><li>Providing insight into projected / suggested deadlines for various frameworks at the planning phase of the project to ensure that the Portfolio Manager and Principle Consultant integrate deadlines into overall project plan.</li></ul></li><li>Constantly communicate own progress to the CEO.</li><li>Offer input and advice on area of expertise as and when required by Client / fellow team members.</li><li>Take a mature, professional approach to conflict that may arise (with both clients and colleagues).</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities 8 %</strong></p><p><strong>Governance and Rule Following</strong></p><ul><li>Advise and assist clients on the relevant legislation and frameworks:<ul><li>WSP</li><li>ATR</li><li>Employment Equity</li><li>Labour Law</li></ul></li><li>Plan, schedule and forecast own workload with specific reference to PEAK times.</li><li>Accurately interpret and apply various legislative and other frameworks to clients specific circumstances.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities: 8 %</strong></p><p><strong>Working with others</strong></p><ul><li>Effectively build relationships with both clients and staff.</li><li>Quickly establishes rapport with others and can comfortably work at all levels (learners to senior management).</li><li>Value teamwork and positively contribute to the overall team goals and objectives.</li><li>Employ excellent negotiation skills when interacting with service providers and clients.</li><li>Can read clients accurately and adapt client approach where and when necessary.</li><li>Manages conflict in a calm, mature and professional manager using facts to convince others.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities 8 %</strong></p><p><strong>Analyse and Solve Problems </strong></p><ul><li>Analytical Thinking:<ul><li>Breaking down problems into smaller digestible pieces and finding solutions to address both the smaller issues identified and the bigger problem overall.</li><li>Working closely with clients and colleagues on various problems and providing input and solutions.</li><li>Undertaking research where necessary to gain a better grasp on the issue at hand and find long term sustainable solutions.</li></ul></li><li>Numerical Reasoning:<ul><li>Excellent ability to interpret numerical/financial data.</li></ul></li><li>Attention to Detail:<ul><li>Ensuring that every aspect of a problem / task / project has been addressed by checking and monitoring own performance and not overlooking small but potentially important aspects.</li></ul></li><li>Organisational Skills:<ul><li>Ensuring that all aspects/elements of a task has been taken into account during the planning phase.</li><li>Advise Portfolio Manager / Principle Consultant with regards to required resources timeously.</li><li>Closely monitoring own progress and performance and communicate any possible obstacles, delays or problems that may arise to colleagues.</li><li>Using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel to present client related results in a clear, precise and reliable manner.</li><li>Use standard company report templates as basis for Qualification</span></strong></p><p><strong>Formal Qualifications & Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Relevant tertiary qualification (HR Degree preferable, NQF Level 6 or higher)</li><li>Additional HR related qualifications and training will be advantageous</li><li>5-8 years general HR Consulting experience in a similar environment</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Sound knowledge of HR Administration</li><li>Sound knowledge of SA Related Laws and Regulations, within the SA context:<ul><li>Skills Development Act (incl QCTO, SETAs, Skills Funding options, WSP and ATR Processes, etc)</li><li>Labour Lar Law (incl Disciplinary Procedures, CCMA, etc)</li><li>Employment Equity Act (incl EE compliance)</li></ul></li><li>Sound understanding of specialist HR processes and methodologies (incl Performance Management, Succession planning, etc)</li><li>High level understanding of B-BBEE Code of Conduct</li></ul><p><strong>Competencies</strong>:</p><ul><li>Develop and Apply
