About the Role
The Applications Support Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the BPM team with system administration, security, and user control. This position requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to ensure seamless system operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist BPM team with administration of systems and general settings (e.g., CargoWise One, SAGE, Parcel Perfect)
- Ensure system security and user control
- Schedule training sessions with trainers and users as requested or where needed
- Find solutions to operational processes versus system gaps using SQL queries
- Document processes and user guides
- Assist BPM team in assigning and attending to EDI Helpdesk tickets
- Follow up and close tickets within allocated time frames
- Assist with implementation of system projects (e.g., EDI integration projects, application upgrades)
- Manage Integration & Automation projects
Requirements
- Matric or senior certification equivalent
- Tertiary qualification and industry experience are recommended and highly advantageous
- Strong technical skills in systems administration and user control
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- CargoWise Specialist Certified
- CargoWise Professional Certified (advantageous)
- Excel level intermediate
