About the Role
A forward-thinking technology environment is seeking a Back-End C# Developer with strong Azure cloud experience and practical exposure to AI and LLM integrations. This role focuses on building robust APIs, microservices, and intelligent back-end solutions that power automation, insights, and enhanced digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable back-end services, APIs, and microservices using C# and .NET
- Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using Azure services
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities, such as Azure OpenAI, into back-end systems
- Develop and maintain data access layers using SQL and ORM frameworks
- Implement secure, performance, and reliable distributed systems
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and follow Git-based development workflows
Requirements
- Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience: 3-7 years experience in back-end development using C# and .NET technologies
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in C#, .Net Core, Web APIs, and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Storage)
- Experience with SQL and ORMs such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and RESTful API standards
- Knowledge of security standards, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and managed identities
