About the Role
The Quality Officer will support the implementation and maintenance of the BidAir Cargo and Interloc Freight Services Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The role assists in driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct scheduled internal audits using approved checklists.
- Document audit findings and communicate deficiencies to relevant stakeholders.
- Track corrective actions and verify closure of non-conformances.
- Prepare audit reports for management review.
- Participate in external audits and facilitate compliance with audit requirements.
- Maintain and update quality-related documents, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure controlled access to the central document library and prevent unauthorized use.
- Regularly review and archive obsolete documentation in line with company policy.
- Support staff in locating and applying the correct procedures for their roles.
- Protect company intellectual property and sensitive information from cyber threats.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Auditing, Risk Management, or Safety Management Systems (NQF Level 6 or equivalent)
