About the Role

A dynamic Barista is sought after by a Café in Rosebank to join their part-time team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality beverages.

Key Responsibilities

• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g., preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Keep the area clean
• Maintain stock
• Check brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
• Ensure that your uniform is clean and in a good state of repair

Requirements

• Preferably 2–3-year previous Barista experience
• Passionate about the hospitality industry
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Basic math and communication skills
• Ability to gauge customer’s preference
• Strong customer service orientation and active listener
• Must be well-presented
• Flexibility to work various shifts
