About the Role
TWK Agri has a vacancy available for a Clerk (Payroll) within the Corporate Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate payroll processing and related reporting, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with statutory requirements and company policies
- Maintain and update payroll records, including timesheets, allowances, deductions, and employee changes
- Process monthly payroll inputs, reconciliations, and submissions
- Administer Provident Fund processes in line with legislation
- Support employee lifecycle administration, including appointments, transfers, and terminations
- Address payroll queries and discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
- Liaise with operational points to ensure timely and accurate payroll information
- Assist with reporting requirements and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Support compliance with relevant legislation and internal HR processes
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 Diploma/Degree in HR (advantageous)
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Qualifications
- Sage People 300 system experience (advantageous)
