About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with advanced skills to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining full-stack applications, designing and implementing microservices and API-based architectures, and building scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications (frontend + backend)
- Design and implement microservices and API-based architectures
- Build scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS services
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and story refinement
- Identify risks, issues, and technical impediments proactively
- Review and present system solutions to product stakeholders
- Ensure code quality, unit testing, and compliance standards
- Maintain technical documentation aligned to ISO standards
- Provide DevOps support for deployed solutions
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers
Requirements
- 3–5+ years software development experience
- Experience in system implementation and monitoring
- Exposure to testing (manual or automated)
- Agile working experience (advantageous)
- JSF experience
- Angular advanced implementations
- AWS PaaS services (ECS / Fargate / Lambda)
- Maven build tools
- Jenkins pipeline setup and maintenance
- Bitbucket usage alongside Git
- Jira & Confluence
- DevOps practices and tooling
Qualifications
- IT Degree or Diploma (advantageous)
